At least one FIN milestone requires Beacons to unlock.
As they are (per their description) to be removed from the game, I would suggest switching to e.g. Crystal Oscillators (they are the core component in the Beacon alternative automation recipe)
The conversion rate could be the same as in the Beacon recipe.
