The wx version of the file open dialog does not provide this functionality.

Not sure if this is a GTK specific feature or an ubuntu one, regardless nothing
that can be done about this from within Editra that I am aware of.

The FileBrowser plugin (noteably version 2.0 for next release) also provides
similar functionality to allow bookmarking of paths.
