It's time to moove !

State of art 🎨

We are actually using 3 differents repos :

• popoyoko-ui => The main repository
• tokenscript => A proof of concept on how we can manage tokens
• popoyoko-branding => Was initialy a place to manage assets but this is actually where @ballaoui push tokens

The need ✨

We should only use one repo for storing the tokens in the default config => popoyoko-ui

The process 🚚

Since the main branch is locked we have the perfect setup to not break everything. But let's get further!

We should setup branches especially for designer ✋@ballaoui.

tokens branch

A branch where @ballaoui will be able to test through a workflow if his tokens are correct (it means that style-dictionary is able to build everything), and the UI as well!

Once this branch is able to merge, @Emerson452 can merge it on develop.

@Emerson452 you will need to teach @ballaoui how to make a pull request 😉

Final check before consuming tokens builds aka variables

A last workflow will try to build variables from tokens. Then the UI will try to build consuming theses variables.

The result 🎉

Effortless checkup workflow where nobody loose work

• @ballaoui will be able to push frequently with no needs to check branch before pushing
• @Emerson452 will be able to use tokens provided by the CI with no regression risk => eg. If @ballaoui remove a token used by the UI, the workflow will not able to merge.
