How is this - unsure if the labels work?
Sorry, I included the table for reference, it doesn't need to be part of the graphic. I should have made that clearer!
I think we can go a bit more stylized and less "like a graph from Google Sheets". I guess the test, in my head, is this should look like something we could put on our homepage or product pages. We probably won't do that, but it should be consistent with that branding.
Some random thoughts in that direction:
I'm throwing a lot of random thoughts at you here. Would it be using to have a quick huddle to talk through it?
Ah okay sorry I thought it was more - make this graph like the App but yes I can run with these ideas!
Do we need to include a Key?
Yeah, it will but still TBD on what we're calling things. This looks good so far. We can revise further once the launch details are firmed up.
Oh, before I forget, we'll want a light mode and dark mode version of this.
Darkmode done - let me know what you wanna do moving forward here
Nice. Nothing to add now. We might need to tweak these because the pricing has changed since we did this, but nothing urgent to do now as it's going to be an initial soft launch.
Ok, new pricing graph.
On titles and keys, I think:
Then, on the end of the graph, I think we should try adding a little annotation to highlight the total saving at 100 million events. See the very rough version below!
Due to negative space I added in another graphic that I think works well, thoughts?
Will make up a darkmode option now too
Looks good. Only note... can you make the text on the $3k saving a bit bigger?
Can we get rid of the part of the arrow that points up? Makes me wonder which way the pricing is going 😄
Late to the party here (sorry!) but a few thoughts:
100% agree with Cory on this.
@lottiecoxon can we make the changes Cory suggested, please?
Need help on what this means and where they will go @joethreepwood - Also wouldn't mind to see some sort of callout on the lines themselves that says something like "Old base pricing" and "New base pricing"
If we adding a third line, I reckon we should ditch the $3k saving annotation.
If we still wanted some annotation, we could just have a data label at the end of each line, so it's easy to see the difference between each.
The third line is going in a separate chart, so I don't think we need to change anything here
Outline
We're introducing new, cheaper pricing and I'd like a visualization we can use on the website and on social illustrating the difference.
I've mapped at trend line below – orange is our new cheaper pricing for "Events", blue line is "Events with Person Profiles" (also our current pricing).
Basically, I'd like a more fun, simplified version of this graph in keeping with our brand style.
We'll eventually need versions in different dimensions for social, but I reckon we just make one for the website and than adapt from there.
Deadline & Priority
Would be good to have a first version by Wednesday, April 24 – I imagine we'll go through a few revisions.
Technical requirements
Nothing specific on dimensions atm
