Had to really bash through this, it ain't pretty

Hi @gavinc01,

I haven't been able to run this code since the RStudio server's been down today. Will take your word for it that it works and try it out when I get back.

I think we might need to tidy up the folders on the stats server a bit though. At the moment the repo on here bears little resemblance to the folder(s) you guys are using on there - the Temp and Output folders didn't exist on here until I added them in (I also updated the .gitignore file so no confidential data is accidentally uploaded on here).

It's not an urgent problem (definitely not one for a Friday afternoon) but things are probably going to end up getting a bit unwieldy if we don't try to enforce some consistency between the various versions kicking around.

The code doesn't look as bad as you think though! Have a good time off and I'll see you both when I'm back on the 18th.
