Some customers do not use the winder for extrusion but instead wind kite line or welding wire from a large to a small spool with it. Although this is a valid use case and works with the current software, it is not very efficient and often faster to use a hand drill for this task. The 14m/min speed limit is the main concern here.
As this feature becomes of increasing demand in conjunction with increasing customers it would be nice to get it implemented.
This means:
Add a new Rewinding mode
make Spool run as fast as possible while still winding with tension
speed slider from 1 to 30? m/min
avoid usage of puller as constant pulling speed is not important here?
Add input field to enter desired length after which the winder stops automatically (for customers that want to have e.g. 100m wound)
Automatic speed up and slow down on begin rewinding and on end rewinding (makes fixing filament to spool easier)
Do not use two step (start Pulling, start Winding) approach, just one Button e.g. start Rewinding
