consider enabling creation of quarter and time stamped sub-directory for outputs #78

It would be advantageous if the outputs were written to an automatically created sub-directory in the defined outputs directory with a quarter and time stamped name, e.g. 2022Q4_20240227T071243Z, as was the case with #71
