Requirement Analysis

mandatory tasks

graphical user-interface that
- displays all simulation scenarios inside the publications FSKX model archive,
- allows the user to change the parameter values (values can be numbers, strings, vectors and files)
function that injects new simulation into a FSKX file
- simulation data is stored in a .sedml file (https://sed-ml.org/)
function that sends the new FSKX file to D4Science VRE for execution

optional features

graphical UI is a separate service that receives and sends simulation information between FESMJ and itself
changing parameter values within the defined constraints (min/max)
UI is able to read metadata JSON files that are based on potentially changing FSKX schema
- "helper-libraries" are generated with a separate app maintained by BfR

Hi @schuelet In my understanding, this new service should be "workflow agnostic". It should read an FSKX file, dynamically generate GUI, and repack the simulation data in a new FSKX file. Integration with D4Science or other systems should be done independently (as a separate task/project) and only use the output of this new service. Also can you please provide me with some example FSKX files, where the simulation scenarios are stored and how to be displayed (based on your current system)?
