Help Running Pokemon Diamond? :( #85

Is there any kind of patch or any workaround to allow Pokemon games (specifically Pokemon diamond!!!) to run on Snickerstream?? My program works beautifully but it always drops when I open the Pokemon diamond game, even if I used an NFC patch or enabled debug. I think it's because the game forces the DS to disconnect from wifi or forces it to use original settings. Does anyone know a workaround? This is literally the only game I care about making work!

I had the same issue with Pokemon Black. You see, Snickerstream runs only on the 3DS. When a DS/DSi game is loaded on a 3DS, the device goes into "DSi mode" effectively becoming a DSi. When this happens, Snickerstream can't run because for all intents and purposes, you are playing a DSi, not a 3DS. Your only options at the time are emulators, my personal recommendation being melonDS, or getting a capture card, which taps the audio and video from the ribbon cable.

Dumb question, in this hypothetical emulation can I still use the 3DS or would I have to go full on comp with it?

DS emulated on 3ds isn't possible as far as I know, so it would be on pc (or on a phone/tablet). However there are methods of using the 3ds as a controller for a pc, I'll look into that but I don't think the touchpad will work. In addition to that you could stream a pc game to 3ds, do with that knowledge what you wish. Something like this would take a lot of painful research and development.

my main thing is I have a 2ds and want to use it to stream games but it's almost impossible to find any good information on how to do a hard mod and i'm trying to figure out a way to salvage it to play DS games XD
