Update as of 6/1/19
The container is at: https://hub.docker.com/r/mgxd/mindboggle/tags 1.4.0-aws (simple workflow was run inside this container. and mindboggle runs freesurfer and ants).
Within https://github.com/mgxd/mindboggle/tree/master/install I see only outdated (origin has a single one generated by neurodocker) Dockerfiles, I see no information on how aws is different from legacy, and I am just curious which one should I use if I run analysis locally etc. Could someone (or README) clarify on how those containers come about and when aws, or legacy, or legacy-aws or just plain 1.4.0 should be used?
Documentation (README.md) says

The original motivation is to add that container to https://github.com/ReproNim/containers
