C2-12828-1 in Mission Pack 1 #86

I've went through whole base game without major issues. Problem appeared on Mission Pack 1 - level "Research facility", while going through gold keycard doors game always hangs with C2-12828-1 error. I'm using GOG version of Quake files on Enso 3.60 I've tried multiple times, always with the same result. Removing config file from /hipnotic/ directory does not bring any difference. I've got the impression that issue is triggered by electric rays that are appearing right after opening the doors.

Try to disable Smooth Animations.

Unfortunately, issue still persists.

I'm adding save file also, just in front of problematic door. It might ease issue reproduction for you.

Is it possible that my expansion pak0.pak is corrupted somehow?

Rinnegatamante commented 3 years ago

I did personally try with Steam files (classic version, not remastered one) and it worked fine. May be that GOG files are somehow different.

GOG files should have the same checksum values than the missionpacks on Steam. But as you said, the re-release isn't compatible with those files...

If required, make sure your pak file have the following checksum:

Nom: pak0.pak
Taille: 35527205 octets (33 MiB)
CRC32: D17835FB
CRC64: FEAA840E471CDAC2
SHA256: 62B83569BA975015535BE73407796CE0829EBCFA75A68FB29C67514649DC655F

I've got exactly the same file, checksums are matching (Re-release contains both .pak files: original ones and remastered versions for base game and extensions - second one for Mission Pack 1 is ~2,5 times bigger). I tried to copy 33 Mib pak0.pak (original one) over to Vita again with the same result. @Ch0wW, can you please give it a try with save file I've uploaded above, to check if it is working fine for you? Maybe it is just something wrong with started game instance somehow.
