ctd_plots module is still pretty inflexible – continuing to expose matplotlib options makes it more robust.

Plot options:

DPI
figsize
fontsize
line color(s)
marker(s)
dark background option
???

Other ideas:

Can ctd_plots take an unspecified number of inputs (**kwargs), test them against matplotlib style options, and apply to plot?

Can ctd_plots have a class/variable/whatever to mimic matplotlib.styles and matplotlib.rcParams?

Return plot in such a way that it can be a subplot of a figure?
