Main hand upgrades get used up when ranged upgrades are used #251

It is sort of confusing to explain, but every time a ranged item is used (i.e emerald), the main weapon takes damage as well. Some main hand upgrades seem to ignore durability upgrades when the projectile is shot (Blaze rod breaks around 20th emerald use with diamond, but bone takes more than 100). One last thing is the main weapon will apply it's special effect on the projectile, so blaze rod will make any projectile set the target on fire, and a shear blade will cause crit particals if invisible (doesn't deal any extra damage though, it's purely visual).

How can it be reproduced?

  1. give a soldier a brick and any main weapon of choice
  2. put different colored soldier down with brick and a diamond block (so it doesn't die to early) nearby
  3. give the first soldier any ranged weapon, it's better to use one with 15 or above uses though.
