Room messages are not updated unless restarted

Describe the bug New messages are not shown unless a resync is done, which mostly require either waiting for an interval or restart the application.

To Reproduce

Create a room with too separate accounts, send a message from on of the accounts and notice that the room timeline doesn't get updated in real time from the other account receiving and viewing the timeline.

Expected behavior New messages should be added to the timeline.

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

• Device: OnePlus 6T
• OS: Android 14 (unofficial ROM)

• App version: Version: 0.4.7.sc4-test1 (7810) sc_testing_fdroid (8e2f53ff)
• Store: F-Droid
• Homeserver: Synapse 1.93.0
