The wifi adapter is under the big I/O heatsink at the back of the mobo, and from what I gathered one would have to remove the cpu cooler framework to get to it.
Hi, I've replaced the AX200 with a BCM43960Z4.
You don't need to remove the heatsink.
First, remove the bottom plate under the motherboard, then you remove the back IO panel.
The WiFi module can be removed with a bit care.
I'd suggest this issue to be closed.
That is brilliant to know, thanks for the tip. Still waiting for my wireless adapter to arrive, so this operation is still ahead of me.

Hi there, any chance you could show the location of the WIFI Board to be replaced as i couldn't figure out exactly where the card is ? maybe upload a few photos if you have the time, once again thanks for all the work you do.
