What CPU are you using? If gen 11 currently there is no way to work around since Apple not support XE GPU yet
Show your PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0) entry from DeviceProperties. You should be using iMac20,2 SMBIOS according to the Dortania's guide. Try this value first 07009B3E for AAPL,ig-platform-id. If it does not work, then try 00009B3E.
@LavenderMP it's i9-10850K, so iGPU should work fine.
@sash11 thanks for commenting, mine looks like the following:
So the AAPL,ig-platform-id
is correct.
Not sure if I need the slot-name
, device_type
and model
fields as well.
What's your motherboard model and what video do you run?
@Andr3y You do not need the other fields. They are purely for cosmetics. I'm using z590i vision d. This is a Mini-ITX version. For video I'm using dGPU MSI RX 5500 XT Gaming X 8GB card. Works OOB with boot argument agdpmod=pikera
Hey, thanks for posting your guide.
IOConsoleUsers: gIOSScreenLockState 3, hs 0, bs0, now 0, sm 0x0
How do I solve it?
Here's my HW list:
I am running
-wegnoegpu
in theboot-arg
and relying on an iGPU which is enabled in the BIOS.
