[BUG] Website slowness if many notifications

Describe the Issue if the user have a high amount of notifications (currently >800 on my account), the website is very slow

i have the same issue with firefox on windows and safari on ios/ipados

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

1. have a huge amount of notifications
2. open any page on the website
3. wait some seconds for the loading to finish

Expected Behaviour the website speed should not be affected by the number of unread notifications

Screenshots (this was on the sheezy main page, but it's the same behaviour on any page)

Device

• Type: Desktop, Smartphone
• OS: Windows 10 22H2, iOS 17.5.1 (both up to date)
• Browser: Firefox 128.0, Safari

Can reproduce. No interactions are possible while the notification count is calculating.
