A name for a text based game engine... hmmm...
Like, something incredibly clever? Or something random?
Floor is open to all ideas
Zirk (play on Zork, arguably the most famous text adventure game ever; sounds funny) Textiverse Trext (trek + text) TwoBit (allusion to the old bit wars)
KeyBored
(sorry, that one was horrible)
(horribly awesome)
Keasy/Keysie
I really like KeyBored... we could even get all 1337 speak on it and go with K3yB0red
Check - KeyBored and TwoBit were my favorites so I'm totally okay with this
I'd actually like to make one more pull for TwoBit:
TwOBIt
It's leet, and it has I/O in it - which ties back to bits
Um... well, it kinda looks like BLT a little bit kinda... further thinking?
HAHAHAHAHAHA - that's fantastic. I can't un-see it now.
I like TwoBit because it caries with it the connotations of two bit, that is to say small, quirky. Having said that I would not be devastated with KeyBored.
So while at it's heart it's still "console-game", the project has taken on a life of its own and deserves a new, fancier name. One that implies its console roots, but has a clever lingual device or rhyme thrown in there to give it a brand.
Any ideas?
