Several problems with trying to register for private event #512

I am trying to register on Tolaria for Edge Man Championship, an event which requires an invite.

I was invited by the organizer (Emiel) with this account (jbecica@uvic.ca), but never got notification that I received an invite and still cannot access the event lobby on Tolaria.

I then assumed that I could not join the event because the invitation was sent to my uvic.ca email which no longer exists. In October 2023 I attempted to change my email on tolaria to my active account (becica.joseph@gmail.com), however now I see that this change was not made, and after trying to change my email again I see that it is failing to work.

We decided that the best option was to create a new account using my gmail address. Emiel said that he had added me to the event using the new account. However, I received no email confirmation and still cannot access the event lobby.

Messaged the user on both accounts and asked if a merge should happen.
