At the time of writing I can't replicate the issue neither in Waterfox Classic 2020.04 nor Firefox Dev 76.0b8

Could you try refetching the list once again and see if anything changes? There's a possibility that the feed was damaged and I was unable to parse it, if the issue still persists I can only suggest clearing cache maybe?

hi zakius - browser cache exists only in memory in my case, though there is obviously other storage that makes its way to disk, though most domain specific storage is dumped on browser exit or during browsing (including 'cookies', IDB, workers, etc.)

i re-fetched the feed again and SRSS is seeing the last 3 articles (verses the last 2 as in the last test)...

can you please go to about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox, inspect the extension, clear the console that will appear and see if anything appears there when you try to refetch again?

Honestly I'm at a complete loss, had weird issues with fetching data before but I couldn't download the file at all due to tracking protection kicking in (sometimes even when it was disabled... that's why I added some domains explicitly to permissions) but skipping articles, especially ones that should be at the top of the file, is really bizarre

yeah, i grabbed the latest version on AMO and it looks like the feed example i gave is working ok now - all elements seem to be present after a re-fetch
