Installing:

npm install mapbox-gl --save
typings install registry:dt/geojson --save --global 
typings install github:smartrak/mapbox-gl-js-typescript/typings.json --save

Edit your tsconfig.json to contain

{
    "files": [
        "typings/index.d.ts"
    ]
}

Now you can import mapboxgl = require('mapbox-gl');
