After being added to the DLMS, files have to be manually organized into the correct folder. This process is time-consuming, and it would be more efficient if the files could be automatically sorted into folders based on their subject metadata.
Requirements:
When adding new content, the content item should be automatically sorted into a folder in the library version based on the "subject" metadata.
Potential Implementation:
Add a checkbox or toggle button to the "New Content" and "Add Bulk Content" pop-ups on the Contents page. This option would allow the librarian to specify if they want the file to be automatically sorted.
When the library version is selected, add a dropdown menu to select the library version in which the content file will be added to the specified folder.
Update the confirmation message after the file has been added to confirm that the content file was sorted into the correct folder and the library version it was added to.
