I did a quick update that makes it work with Npcap, if it's installed in "WinPcap Compatible Mode". To install it in "WinPcap Compatible Mode" tick the checkbox that says that during their setup wizard. I did a quick test and it worked on Win8, but not so much on Win10. For now, WinPcap is still the default library used. Npcap needs to be manually installed.
I have also added a new option at the bottom of the network interface configuration menu called "Data Usage" (same as in Win10), that will make the inbound and outbound total bytes transferred persistent across reconnections/reboots.

Too bad really. The issue may be Npcap or Windows and not Network-Manager. Will investigate...

Sorry, I can't seem to find that option.
If you have the update I just pushed, you should have this option:
Is it possible to make this app work with Npcap as well? WinPcap is getting really old.
Also: Would it be possible for the gadget to remember the total upload/downloads per interface across reboots?
Thank you
