Suggestion : Blinding infusion instead of Darkness and other things #30

Hey again !

First I quite love the last iteration of Many Throw (still think that force would be nice with it ^^)

As for Negative/Gravity/Void blasts, would you consider adding Darkness infusion but as a clone of Blinding infusion?

It could be nice since it's not a very used penalty.

A clone of Chilling would be nice too/instead, after all the space void is cold :p

There again it's still a tad disappointing on the AoE side of things, I would suggest to allow Truinto Chain infusion (if Dark Codex installed) to be used with negative&co, since, for example, the void divine domain is based on various travel spells.

All in all I really like those additions, a little sad that negative&co blasts are that green, but I looked into quite some spell projectiles and did not saw many dark/purplish ones -_-'

I was discussing the sfx on Discord. Bubbles thinks it should be possible to add tint functionality to them. So maybe someday we can have better fitting colors on our blasts. I haven't looked deeper into it. I don't know where to start and my to-do list is ever so long.

That's nice to know ! Hardly a game breaking thing though...

I'm playing an Aeon kineticist right now, with void focus since I think it matches the "void and stars" thing, but it's quite off right now :p

Hey, excellent idea for the darkness infusion. I’ll try to get that in when I can.

very potentially for the chilling infusion, but for now I’m trying to keep things as close to tabletop rules as possible, before I branch out too far with other things.

And yeah, fx thing is sad, I might have to develop a unity expertise to start making my own. Weirdly though, negative energy, at least to owl cat, appears to be greenish, with all the projectiles I’ve checked

Yep I also checked all necromancy projectiles... :P

And I understand for chilling (or even chain). Those could be optional by using the UMM menu. That's personal interpretation but it would allow to use a variety of saves for a variety of enemies !

Hey, a little necro but I'm still following the fixes and progress!

On the VFX side it seems that there are violet blasts that could be used for negative element. There is a new warlock mod here that use it.
