Summary:
My severe low alarm didn't go off because of a bug restoring settings. This was scary, but luckily right before I went to bed.
Details:
I recently switched from a free to a paid apple account. I backed up my settings from the maintenance tab QR code. After installing the paid app, I restored the settings via the QR code.
My urgent low alarm uses a custom alert type called Very Loud. It turns out, none of my alert types were restored. Only the default "Silent" type is available now.
So, I'm assuming that since my urgent Low alarm was set to an alarm type that doesn't exists, that is what caused my alarm to not go off. This issue happened for my low alarm as well. I understand it's an edge case, but if it's an apparent bug it could save someone some grief that runs into it as well. Thanks!
