For that the apps should be separated into separate categories of what they should be installed for For example the General CLI tools for every install:
build dependencies: base-devel openssl zlib xz git zsh tmux neovim neofetch fzf fzy exa asdf-vm acpi Terminal image viewer: chafa A nice screensaver: pipes.sh Simplify using docker: docker-shell Two nice file managers: n³ xplr Make tmux more awesome with presets: tmuxinator Benchmark all your CLI things: hyperfine curl but easier for modern API: httpie A better du: dust Tetris in Terminal: yetris Installer for any font from google fonts: google fonts bash cheatsheet: navi (I might alias this to Midna out of spite Maybe spotifyd and spotify-tui if I can figure them out
Visual Studio Code (maybe should also add auto install of plugins? IdeaVim should probs be added) Discord, Firefox; Flameshot Audio (Alsa? Pulseaudio? Pipewire? Jack?)
gnome itself Dconf (for editing gnome-settings via the terminal, though this might also be good for all DEs) gtk-engine-murrin gtk-engines
The installscript could be moved into a separate repository and enhanced massively there with some Python which would be way easier than the ugly Bash scripting currently used That way I could also implement stuff like different profiles and stuff, maybe an enhanced version of archinstall, we'll see, just noting it down for later
