Is it crashing for you, like the app exits, or is it just an error display in the app itself?
I haven't been able to make it crash, but what I do see is issues calling the YouTube API.
One solution that worked with the existing app, is to re-authorize the YouTube account in the app, by deleting and re-adding the account config in the publish screen. Let me know if that works for you and the answer the other questions.
It's displaying an error over the preview window, sounds like the same behavior you're seeing. I first had three issue on a fresh install of StoryMaker, with no account authorized. I will try removing and reauthorizing.

Screenshots would be great. Also "crash" is a very different than "display an error"
I installed over the existing build, but had to authorize StoryMaker. I received error 1231235 Unauthorized. I disconnected StoryMaker and reconnected and received the same error.
I'm more going to disconnect, uninstall, install with a fresh build.
NB: I got the same warning as before that as of April 20 YouTube will no longer support the web sign in.

We will have to fix that before April 20th, but for today, it is still working.
Can you test with a different device and/or different gmail/youtube account?
Is it possible you didn't attach all the updates to this build? For example I don't see anything related to flipping the video, I thought that was in this release?

Using a different account worked as expected. Any idea why the previous account no longer connects or how to solve that? I assume it's an issue on the Google/YouTube side.

You might check on this link: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions?pli=1 and see if you can remove/deauthorize there. It might also be something with the connection between your gmail account and YouTube. There are definite glitches.
It may turn out that the work we do to fix the April 20th change will solve this for you. For now though, i think we will have to live with what we have.
Getting an exception error when posting to YouTube from the new build.
