Microphone permission after install #130

Hi, I did install the new Dicio App and I've read on f-Droid that I can use the keyboard mic button in order to use STT. So I didn't open the Dicio app from the app drawer, but with the mic button in AnysoftKeyboard. Dicio opened, but first I didn't know what to do. It would be good to point the user to install that additional component (can't rememeber the name). After a while I figured it out but after that, there was an error message. STT didn't work and the error message (pop-up) was not descriptive. Only later I've noticed the notification of the error in the notification area of Android.

It turned out that Dicio didn't have permission for the mic. I would be good if the user would get the permission request pop-up also when I use the Anysoftkeyboard

So for me it's working fine now, but for new user it would make it easier if there was the mic permission request also in AnysoftKeyboard. Also it would be good to inform the user to install that additional component for STT after App install and how. /e/OS Android 11, Samsung s10

Btw. I'm very excited about the 0.8 release. Thank you very much for your work 😃 Awesome!

Thanks for reporting! Should be fixed in the latest release (1.0). Now the Vosk button shows that the microphone permission is missing in the STT service, too:
