Power2Max no cadence #102

Open december-soul opened 4 years ago

december-soul commented 4 years ago

I have the Power2Max (P2M) Powermeter which also includes the cadence. On Zwift it works perfect. (Power and Cadence)

On UrbanBiker the Cadence Sensor will not work, shows always 0. It also shows 0 during the ride.

Attached you find a logfile of the App. I have removed all devices from the profile, scan for devices and add the Powermeter. After that i have started a ride and turned the pedals.

Sorry, no idea at this time what could be wrong here. One thing you can try, is to enable "Data filtering" feature in the sensor properties screen, and see if it helps. Please let us know, and thanks for the feedback!

has no effect

hello same problem but i have Magene p325, everything works well in other applications

Sublimis commented 3 years ago

Hi guys, have you tried this with the newest version of the app (6.0)? Also, does the app manage to count at least the "Pedal strokes" statistic for you (found in the History screen after you save a track), or is this also 0 like the cadence values?

zestroen commented 3 years ago

Yes app ver. 6.0 , Pedal strokes and Cadence = 0 or --

december-soul commented 3 years ago

i have still the problem. v6.0 History screen shows: Cadence = --

Can you please connect with the power meter using nRF Connect app and list all the services that the power meter advertises?

One other thing, since those power meters are dual BLE/ANT+, if possible you can try connecting using the other connection type and see if this fixes the issue. Thanks for the feedback!

Yes, it works on bluetooth, it shows both power and cadence. I did not understand the app nRF. Am7s3Net_8o

Thank you! We've just released a new version (v6.01) with a possible fix for this. Please let us know if the cadence works now!

Sublimis commented 3 years ago

Hi guys, did you have a chance to try this out? Does it work correctly now?

december-soul commented 3 years ago

Sorry my bike is in the workshop, can't use it for the next weeks

zestroen commented 3 years ago

Cadence and power works only on bluetooth, Ant + only shows power

december-soul commented 3 years ago

it looks like my Power2Max device can't do BT. Zwift also uses Ant+ and there the Cadence are also displayed. is there an ANT+ debug tool I can use to help?
