Feature: Improve display of progress when uploading data #247

It's difficult to understand where the problem occurs when the user is having problems uploading data. Is it:

Lack of internet
Unable to download the list of id's from the server due to poor internet
Unable to perform the bulk upload.

Can we display progress at each step so the user can tell us where the problem is happening?

Also, a machine generated log would be helpful.
