Someone from another team was talking to me about using the lights on the ceiling for absolute position calculation that would not lose accuracy with time. Probably should be a lower priority, but it is an interesting idea.
A floor tracking system would be more reasonable as lighting conditions under the robot will probably be consistent, and it will be a consistent distance away from the robot floor.
