Windows installer does not work #53

Hi There,

Several people have reported this problem, so I'm creating a dedicated issue.

The installer Windows fail without any notification. In result, only the uninstaller is present in the "C:\Users\Benjamin\AppData\Local\Programs\ove-electron".

The app from MS store works fine. But unfortunately, the use of the MS store is not possible for us (security restriction)

This occurs both on:

Windows 10 Pro - 22H2 (Build 19045.2913).
Windows 10 Education - 22H2 (Build 19045.2846).

Is there a debug mode for the installer?

Edit: Looking into "OpenVectorEditor-Setup-1.5.5.exe", the $PLUGINSDIR dir contain "app-arm64.7z", Is this a mistake or is it deliberate? (there is no other binary in the installer, except the uninstaller)

Hi @Norde thanks for the issue. I haven't had a ton of bandwidth to look into the installer issues recently. I'll let you know when I get a moment to dig in further.

Anyone solve this problem? Now i'm using ove v1.55 ubuntu version through WSL2 in windows. It works, but its weird.

I did not succeed in compiling for windows so I wasn't able to poke around :/
