Launcher and patcher for Sim Theme Park!

About Golden Ticket

Golden Ticket is a launcher for Sim Theme Park, which will automatically patch your game installation to run on any PC running Windows Vista or newer1. It does so by changing out files in the game directory with modified versions which have been tested to work on a majority of systems with positive repeatable results. Some files are also added to make the game work [better], such as required fonts, cutscenes, and music.

Contributing

If you would like to contribute and make modifications to the launcher, here are the steps to do so.

  1. Fork the repo
  2. Clone it to your computer
  3. Make a new branch, and name it after the changes you're making
  4. Make your changes, and test them intensely to make sure it doesn't cause any problems with the launcher's functionality!
  5. Push changes to the forked repo to the branch you made, not "Master"!
  6. Create a pull request with this repo, with a detailed description of what your changes are, and what they effect. If your pull request isn't easy to understand and detailed, it will not be merged.

Currently, this repo (and all other repos from The Buzzy Project (TBP) along with it's included files are released under the GPL-2.0 license.

1 Not guarenteed. There are some cases of the game not running (or installing) on some systems for unknown reasons. This is something which cannot be fixed, and just simply means that system is 100% incompatible with the game for whatever reason.
