3 days ago nice you found the new repo! Long story short my GI and Conscript concepts turned out much simpler. I love these concepts but to fully realize them would take a ton of work, and I liked the challenge of making a simple commando-esque shooter guy. You can enable them in config to try.
here's the doc of my ror2 ra2 ideas for more info.
- My GI turned out a bit different from here. I actually tried m1 being gun and m2 being missiles just like the concept here, but I felt it was getting a bit too much when I tested it. I simplified m1 to be the main focus of barricading, and made him more of a simple shoot man (both for easier design and easier implementation).
I considered paratroopers as well but I let that go early on because of the crazy work allies would take both to design and code. this sentiment applies to conscript as well - My Conscript goes in a general different direction, SkeletorChampion coming up with the idea for garrison-ing based on conscripts being used to garrison buildings. I then consolidated the idea to mirror GI's design of m1 basic shoot m2 basic projectile m3 basic utility m4 empower m1 and m2.
- I currently have no concepts for initiate, but if I can twist this to mirror gi and conscript as well that'd be cool. I like the chaos drone a lot, but I might save psychic control for a yuri character.
Sorry the ideas ended up not being used as much. I absolutely appreciate the enthusiasm and am always willing to hear more for discussion.

Conscript
my personal addition to conscript: add a joke config to allow for utility to play hell march 2 & 3 medley remastered for the duration of the skill, maybe starting from the 24 second mark of the song
