SaaS POS Application

This repository contains a SaaS Point of Sale (POS) application built using Next.js for the frontend and NestJS for the backend. The application is designed to provide a seamless and efficient POS system that can be customized to fit various business needs.

Prerequisites

Ensure you have the following software installed:

Installation

Clone the repository:

git clone https://github.com/your-username/saas-pos-app.git cd saas-pos-app Install dependencies for the frontend:

cd frontend npm install Install dependencies for the backend:

cd ../backend npm install Usage Running the application Start the backend server:

cd backend npm run start:dev Start the frontend server:

cd ../frontend npm run dev Open your browser and navigate to http://localhost:3000 to see the application in action. Configuration Environment Variables Create a .env file in both the frontend and backend directories and add the necessary environment variables. Refer to .env.example in each directory for the required variables.

Database Setup Ensure your MongoDB database is running and accessible. Update the database connection settings in the config files in the backend directory.

Frontend Configuration Update the next.config.js file with any necessary configuration for your deployment environment.
