I'll draw a conclusion. #9

I'll draw a conclusion. Project, not working. Intentionally or not, drivers for RAMPS are not specified, what a step. I can also make the video provided, if I don’t connect Stellarium... Neither version works with the program. And the creator of the project disappeared. All problems in communication between the program and the Stellarium program.

I finally connected to stellarium. Just had to fix some code. See last answers: https://github.com/ThisIsJustARandomGuy/dobson-star-tracker/issues/4

I use A4988 drivers, and set microstep on board to 1/32

This code is FAR FAR from complete. Entire sections are missing. Syntax errors everywhere. Honestly, this code should be removed or a DISCLAIMER made that this is a work in progress and CLEARLY UNFINISHED. There is no working code for serial communications via LX200!

Sorry, I was quite busy with life and don't have access to the telescope anymore, so I can't test. I'll add some disclaimers as soon as I get around to it.

@illigtr This project isn't intended to communicate with an LX200, but to a custom control board. Where did you get the impression that it was? I'll add some more descriptions (again, as soon as I get around to doing it).

Hey, no need for apologies... life is busy and messy at the best of times. I didn't want to give the wrong impression, although I think a disclaimer about the status of this project is welcome.

In the meantime, after much research I have settled on Open Astro Tracker. This code has matured a lot, although it has its share of bugs and incomplete code as well... but it made for a much better starting point.

Cheers.
