Aligning this with the use of the did:peer:3 #2

did:peer:3 is a derivative of did:peer:2. Once a peer DID is known to the other party (an existing unqualified DID, or a transmitted did:peer:2 DID), we want to be able to use did:peer:3 in subsequent messages. Should the did property be set to the did:peer:3 value, and the DIDDoc retained? Then an incoming equivalents unqualified, did:peer:2 or did:peer:3 DIDs can be matched.

Yeah, we could directly transform it into a did:peer:3 👍
