In the Font Families List google sheet we are establishing the child families to derive from the VF.

Please add cols for each axis and OT feature, and then in each row, specify the values for them, in order for the GF API to do the derivation using fonttools (similar to github.com/twardoch/fonttools-opentype-feature-freezer) based on these data being in the GF METADATA file. (If you aren't familiar with this file, see gf-guide/metadata and eg literata/METADATA.pb)

Yes, we are working on it. However, we will move this issue to a Playpen repository instead of Playpen Sans if that is ok with you.

Hi @josescaglione, just a quick reminder to include the recipe for the OT features in the sheet linked above (for the final part of the font engine system).

@vv-monsalve yes, now that all of the fonts are fully working in terms of shapes and connecting strokes we will start working on specs, including the recipes.

@vv-monsalve I added the description of the recipes to the readme file. The full CSV with the recipes is already being maintained in the repository and it is up to date. I will also add images to the readme file so visual samples of each variation are available.

I believe we can probably close this issue-

Better to keep it open while the development of the fonts continues (in case any recipe changes) and until the Readmes files are fully finished. As a reminder of both.
