not sure if the data are actually here...
By poking around the HTTP requests and using this tool I was able to get the data.
And that's why you don't depend on security through obscurity ;-P
Done @cambro ! data should be : collaborator@teststrata.geology.wisc.edu:/users/collaborator/Colo (had to change the folder name from "Colombia" to "Colo" for some reason to transfer the data)

Comments: 1) There were no points for this source
2) The lines from this source from the "Tectonica" file extend outside of the Colombia boundaries. I included these in the final consolidated lines shapefile, and I added a column called "tectonica" and marked these lines as "true" in case they should be removed.
3) I assigned strat_names for all of the units in the geo table with obvious official names (e.g. names including the word "formation", "group", "pluton", etc.). I avoided assigning strat_names to units with names with containing lithologic words (e.g. "basalt", "sandstone").
4) The "description" column in the geo table are my translations from the "descripcio" column
