It would be helpful if the named directories for the push to teststrata were cleaned up and indicated here. This one is "Oceanside_CA_223_20170616" That's fine, but it a bit opaque.

cambro commented 7 years ago

@vkhoo there was also a permissions error for the "Source_DATA" folder. This needs to be set so that there are read permissions for all users. @jczaplew can show you how to do this.

jczaplew commented 7 years ago

Not sure...when uploaded with the collaborator account permissions should be set properly.

I ran these commands on the bedrock polygons:

update sources.ca_oceanside set name=ptype where name is null;
update sources.ca_oceanside set hierarchy=NULL where hierarchy ilike '%facies%';
update sources.ca_oceanside set hierarchy=strat_name,strat_name=hierarchy where hierarchy ilike '% Member';```

@jczaplew is it worth setting a different style for 'landslide' and other features in lines?

cambro commented 7 years ago

@jczaplew also the lines are not showing at different scales: https://dev.macrostrat.org/map/#16/33.4748/-117.6233 vs. https://dev.macrostrat.org/map/#17/33.47481/-117.62330
