Issues with "$" as currency symbol #445

  1. Should the XPOS ($ vs. NN/NNS) be contingent on whether or not it has a nummod? https://universal.grew.fr/?custom=652c30281a6fc
    • The non-nummod cases are where "$" is used as a shorthand for "dollar(s)" without an amount—possibly as "US$". GUM apparently has no such cases.
  2. Should the UPOS ever be NOUN instead of SYM? https://universal.grew.fr/?custom=652c3128a8136
  3. With SYM, should there be a Number feature to distinguish singular vs. plural pronunciation?
