This is a very common issue in modded servers. The problem comes from having 200+ of a certain material in your inventory, which can only be achieved by wearing an oversized backpack or other clothing. The solution here is to suicide in-game and then go back to only pick up a part of your loot so you don't have that many items in your inventory. After you've done that just craft whatever you want to craft and then pick up the rest of your loot.
