Solution/Workaround (in some way)

I ran into the same problem: The video sequences are way too fast, graphics glitches (as shown by @GamingDucking), but the game itself seem to work. No matter what I have changed in the Emulator Settings.

However: If you're fine with enjoying the game "unremastered" and being blessed with intact "Original" graphics here is the simple IN-GAME solution with screenshots:

Glitches

In Pause Menu, go to "Special Features"

Change the Render Mode to "Original"

Have Fun like it's 1998

Limitations and "Playability"

The Video Sequences are still way to fast, FPS Hack checked or not. The game itself runs fine so far. I may play the game soon and will notice some problems here if there are some. So seems enjoyable, but with restrictions.
