I tried to boot the game and it made it to the SEGA logo, so I think its bootable, but completely unplayable.

AmandaPeach commented 2 years ago

Game stop running after SEGA and Cripton logo. About "audio bug" inside song and audio folders does not have music data, they are completely empty, must have at least between 15MB and 20MB of data, some installation data are missing after Vita3k installation method. OBS: Default Settings, maindump pkg

all is fine in game file, for block, relate video, it no succes to play

AmandaPeach commented 2 years ago

I noticed i made a wrong decrypt method but now its fine. The game open but the video is not rendered. for me the game doesn't even run 20 fps during the songs. I think my fx8300 is not so good on vita3k

Gets stuck on a white screen after SEGA logo on build 1694. vita3k.log

Gets stuck on a white screen after SEGA logo on build 1694. vita3k.log

if u disable the start movie renaming the folder name "movie" to "_movie" the game start

or rename all .avc files to .bak and creat a new text file with blank page and save it with file extension .avc also the game start with music videos that use H264 encode.

if u disable the start movie renaming the folder name "movie" to "_movie" the game start

However you're still unable to play some songs due to dependencies on movie folder.

Saraistupid commented 1 year ago

I had the same issue and tried the fix above, but i renamed the opening.avc file instead because it had the movie the intro uses, but there's a song at the elegance thingy called Ai Dee, the game goes into a loading loop after loading it

ElementalCyclone commented 1 year ago

"Raspberry Monster" song in "Cool Area" also exhibit the same symptom. Does that means these 'songs' (game stages) also depends on movie directory/opening.avc file ?

How to remove all .AVC files in Project Diva X and play musics with no movies

1- Go to: Vita3K\user\ux0\app\PCSB01007\rom\movie 2- Rename all .AVC files to .bak (Example: opening.avc.bak) U must have extension names enable to edit correctly 3- Create a new text file, save it blank and rename it with the same name of all .avc files (example: opening.txt rename to opening.avc) 4- Now u can open the game and play all musics without get white screen

I replaced the opening.avc, pvstg_002.avc, pvstg_020.avc and still encounter a stucked loading screen for Raspberry monster

U MUST HAVE TO creat a new text file and rename it as .avc and deleted the original movie file, check if "enable extensions are enable to make it possible to work. if u dont do that, it wont work.

I have already created 3 text files, renamed them with .avc extension and replaced the originals. Here are the screenshots of the folder and the problem that I have encountered. I also included the vita log for your reference. Thanks for your time.

why your file 1kb? it should be 0

daddybode commented 1 year ago

I recreated the text file and now it's 0kb. It works now thanks.

ive done all that and all the audio works, yet it has nothing visible, making the game unplayable for me. it only has a golden screen with no other graphics and only sfx and music

if u have amd drivers, u should use vulkan instead opengl

after 22.6.1, project diva x doesnt open in opengl, only in vulkan. if u still and use opngl, then downgrade your drivers to 22.5.1

omfg, read the comment above the topic, i explain HOW TO make then playable by disable .avc files

galax20002 commented 1 year ago

whoever changed the report to playable should change it. its ok the game has visual artifacts and input lag in opengl and less input lag in vulkan. the game runs almost fine on opengl with stutter 30fps even with shader cache. idk much about vulkan because of the glitchy DOF but it seems like it runs a bit better. video playback is still broken. you can play yes but playable is a big word
