Issues

So the game starts up and I see both the SEGA logo then the Crypton logo. After they flash off screen the game halts and stops at [14:06:25.245] |T| [seek_file]: sceIoPread: Seeking fd: 0x56, offset: 0x17000, whence: SCE_SEEK_SET [14:06:25.245] |T| [read_file]: sceIoPread: Reading 2048 bytes of fd 0x56 [14:06:25.245] |T| [seek_file]: sceIoPread: Seeking fd: 0x56, offset: 0x0, whence: SCE_SEEK_SET It does not continue pass that point and I can't play the game.

How to get past white screen

To get to the start menu, you have to rename/delete the opening video file. The file is located in: (Emulated System Folder)/ux0/app/(Game id folder)/rom/movie/opening.avc You'll find the game id on the game list.

When the file is renamed/deleted, after the crypton logo, the screen will turn black and the opening music will start playing, just press X or Start and it will skip to the home screen. From then, it behaves just like in a real vita.

Textures start bugging out the more you play, a temporary solution is to restart but the textures bug out again after a few songs.

Game works perfectly, tested R3021, using vulkan backend. Haven't found any audio or graphical issue and the FMVs work fine, locked at 30fps at 4k 16xAF.

Specs: Win 11, i5 12600kf, 32gb ram, rtx 3070

Android performance is rough though, at least with my poco f3 (snapdragon 870, 8gb ram)

When running Vulkan there's some issues with transparencies and motion blur

Running on: Windows 11 22H2 - AMD 5600X - NVIDIA RTX 3060Ti 528.49 Vita3K Ver: 0.1.6 3023-cd96effc imagen

I had this issue as well. I want to add that the game runs without the opening fix noted as earlier in this thread on Steam Deck. However, it does showcase the visual bug as addressed from this post. It's not game-breaking but if using Vulkan, this will currently be a common visual bug.

Vita3K v0.1.8 3194-ca92b35e - Windows 11 22H2 - Intel i5-12400F - Nvidia GTX1650S 535.98 - 32GB DDR4 3200 - 1080p 16xAF FXAA The game is working perfectly on Vulkan for me, I get stable locked 30 FPS. There are no issues; everything is working correctly for Graphics, Audio and FMVs now. So I think it's finally the time to change the tag to "Playable" for this game in the Compatibility List.

Though I can confirm it can be a really bad choice to run Project DIVA X on Android. For me it has low FPS and a lot of issues with graphics (unstoppable flickering, models disappearing, etc.) on my Lenovo K12 Pro (using Vulkan; Snapdragon 662, Adreno 610, 4GB RAM). It's more like a hardware issue, as custom drivers do actually fix graphics for my case, but the game is still low on performance, has a lot of FPS drops and suffers from continuous stuttering. Unfortunately every single rendered frame is important to enjoy this game. miku

Test environment summary

Tested by: Hotate90 OS: Windows 10 CPU: Intel Core i7 3770 GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050ti running on 535.98.0.0 drivers RAM: 24GBs DDR3

Issues

The game is perfectly playable at a stable 30 fps and has somewhat negligible visual issues. As of the most recent build (0.1.8 3253-fb470a9f), the FMVs work. Although, graphical issues pertaining to Vulkan still remain (DOF, motion blur and bloom during 3DPVs, glitchy transparency during VN sequences and menus) and are not present when using OpenGL. Interestingly, trying to load my save file (that was created while running on Vulkan) on OpenGL makes the emulator freeze for several seconds, so I had to make a save for each backend.

Issues

Game working stable, pressings - without any delays. FPS locked on 30, FPS Hack make background PV laggy. It makes Miku dance faster, and then froze before change of camera. But pressings still works correctly.
