The Curse launcher should have all components be optional, so that if you just want the ability to install and play Minecraft modpacks, you can do that. Personally, I don't care about the CurseVoice services, and all I want from a launcher is that it can download and launch packs. Others who want access to those services can select the modules they want when installing the program or from an options menu.
Alternatively, there could be a separate install for the Minecraft Launcher and the CurseVoice program, so users who just want the launcher can have that without unused, unnecessary overhead.
