Inspiration
Being spending so much time on social media made me realised the basic issues with it like I can loose my profile any day if the company decided to ban me or due to some internal issues(Twitter vs Elon Musk). Secondly I felt they are using my activity in their app and making billions. With these issues in Elpis is made.
We have a younger generation who just wants to be social media influencers so building more secure ,decentralised and free from these third party greediness.
What it does
It is a decentralised micro blogging app where you can connect with people and share your thoughts with more secure way.
Challenges you ran into
There are number of challenges we faced during development process.
Data handling
Data in the app is increasing and requires constant update and the amount of data stored is also too large this issue is resolved using IPFS
Privacy
Since it is decentralised in nature all the data store on chain . Anyone look into it and use it which raises privacy concern for the user this is handle by lit protocol which uses public key encryption to encrypt the data on blockchain and only authorised party can see it which is decided by the users
