Inspiration
Soul Bound Tokens are the new standard of NFTs which are basically Non Transferable tokens. We wanted to create a DeFi dashboard where everyone can trade as well as have the facility to gift someone Soul Bound Tokens with a friendly user interface.
What it does
NFT Haven is a Multichain Defi dashboard with a cool feature to mint Soul Bound tokens on the go. This way there will be no issue with creating Soul Bound tokens and gifting them to your friends. The trading UI is pretty much self-intuitive, while the minting interface is also easy to use. It's a simple form that takes in the parameters of the NFT metadata and the address where the NFT should be delivered, and then just after the user clicks submit and pays the fees, the NFT gets minted.
Behind the scenes, the metadata gets uploaded on IPFS and the URI is sent to the Soul bound NFT smart contract, the contract delivers the NFT to the receiver address. The Defi trading is built on top of 1Inch API.
Challenges you ran into
Soul-bound NFTs are the new standard of NFTs, thus studying it and making a smart contract that is easy to use for the users to interact with was a new thing.
