shapechange: if it was a pack role, well, pack almost always has a visiting role (PsyW, SabW, etc), so it just gives them two kills a night. if it's a packless then the same applies as soon as they connect with pack, though it's still more feasible - but also, applying the effect is itself a visit, so it would just allow whoever it was to execute a kill every other night, basically
huckhuck55: Yeah, that’s kind of what I was leaning towards too.
shapechange: with a solo, because the team is much smaller and the target pool much larger, there's far more incentive to try mass apply the effect than slowly kill
huckhuck55: So it might be best to make a new solo (or UA?). Maybe add it to an existing team like plague? (Seems fitting to be SUPER sick and then die due to visit)

shapechange: i understand the mechanical similarity with the visits, but a) it seems too strong to be a proper solo secondary role b) adding a third effect to the plague team (alongside contaminated/whatever it's called and contagious) is a little bit dodgy c) despite the surface similarity, i think it's a different and interesting enough effect to deserve its own team

Ts: it does two things that plague team doesn't: • potential for faster death (but that's not worth much if its just potential and its less death overall) • having other people seen as attackers (this can be useful in some cases, but is very situational)
shapechange: could add that anyone who's cursed has their ability be blocked some percentage of the time, i suppose, but i know you dislike role blocking
Ts: I dislike the percentage more than the role blocking
huckhuck55: Yeah, having more going on with the “vulnerable” tag would be good I think. Also, it would benefit wolves quite a bit, since their attacks could be explained away. But to make it fun you would most likely want to have coroner in the game.

huckhuck55: For a new role. Role tbd vulnerable While vulnerable, if visited by anyone, you will die. Also, the person that visits will appear by all relevant checks to have attacked.
