huckhuck55: anyways, its just a thought, if it gets approved without that mechanic, im okay with it, could be something to add later if the bad one gets found out too easily
e_thsn:
good=good, bad mask = good?
BT disguises a non wolf as wolf, wolf as cit, unaligned as nothing GT as BT and BT as GT
huckhuck55: cuz as it stands without a disguise, when they both claim, town lead will just get the TI to check one of them and the good one will live, would be good to have something that makes the survivability of the bad managable
huckhuck55: (can we just call them good and bad briefly, the reverse names are confusing me lol)
huckhuck55: i do like robins mechanic, but it might be easy to see through if ppl know their in the game.... no?
huckhuck55: it just means, good= bad bad = good. so there wouldnt be any misdirection?
e_thsn:

however you don't know who's disguised
huckhuck55: in a secret list i think that mechanic would thrive, but in a public list, people would just know that the terms are reversed
huckhuck55: OH! so its not everyone.... gotcha
huckhuck55: yeah thats cool then
huckhuck55: i like that

Jack Robinson | Unaligned Investigative | Limited Basics Jack Robinson's goal is to get robin jackson killed, when that goal is achieved Jack Robinson will win with any team except werewolves if alive. Details If there is a Jack Robinson in game there will always be a robin jackson in game. Each night Jack Robinson can check a player and learn if they're part of the werewolf team or not, this is an immediate action, robin jackson will appear as part of the werewolf team to Jack Robinson. Jack Robinson can win with any team except the wolves, as long as they're alive and robin jackson is dead or lost their role.
Robin Jackson | Unaligned Power | Limited Basics Robin Jackson's goal is to get jack robinson killed, when that goal is achieved Robin Jackson will win with any team except townsfolk if alive. Details If there is a Robin Jackson in game there will always be a jack robinson in game. Each day Robin Jackson can disguise up to two players, this is an immediate action. Werewolf players will be disguised as citizen, while townsfolk and solo players will be disguised as wolf, unaligned players will not be disguised, jack robinson will be disguised as Robin Jackson, and Robin Jackson as jack robinson. Robin Jackson will learn how many disguises of each kind were applied but not who received which disguise, jack robinson will be counted as a townsfolk being disguised. Robin Jackson can win with any team except the townsfolk, as long as they're alive and jack robinson is dead or lost their role.
<@&1045732542399131769> any opinions
Jack Robinson and Robin Jackson (not like the original role)
2 UA one town/solo aligned and the other wolf/solo aligned who's goal is to get the other killed then win alongside their respective team
Town/solo aligned one is an investigation role Wolf/solo aligned one is a disguising role
venomousbirds: ew no
venomousbirds: fuck outta here
venomousbirds: none of that bullshit
e_thsn: I just reused the name :)
venomousbirds: wrong re-usage
venomousbirds: i gotta be more honest about these suggestions yknow
venomousbirds: and most of them are shit
e_thsn: What's wrong though, they're no longer the same team
venomousbirds: so?
venomousbirds: they sound awful to play
venomousbirds: its just manhunting and luck
venomousbirds: it seems terrible
venomousbirds: i think something like psycho is fine
shapechange: don't like it
shapechange: vera is right
venomousbirds: but getting this role and knowing that theres one specific player that wants to kill you just sounds awful in concept
venomousbirds: so im shutting this concept down as early as possible before i forget to react to it and it randomly shows up in some next rolebook version
e_thsn:
but getting this role and knowing that theres one specific player that wants to kill you just sounds awful in concept
Isn't that plague with a PD?
venomousbirds: this is awful and i dont think its fits wwr
venomousbirds: what
e_thsn: PD specifically wants plague dead and manhunts them
venomousbirds: its not a manhunt because theres other parts to the role
venomousbirds: here the role is just "kill this one person specifically"
shapechange: (vera i do agree with you but if you could try to move forward with a little more tact i think the people who have put effort into the role may appreciate it)
e_thsn: Then make sure the opposite team loses?
venomousbirds: what
e_thsn: You don't just win if the other is dead
venomousbirds: this is just a terrible idea i think
e_thsn: You gotta win with town/wolf based on which one you are
mctsts:
its not a manhunt because theres other parts to the role
theres other parts to this role too?
venomousbirds: that seems so incohesive
mctsts: I think PD is a decent comparision
shapechange: i think the roles lack interest and would add fairly little to the game, to be honest
mctsts: both PD and this have a set enemy team and abilities to help fight them
venomousbirds: the abilities seem kinda incohesive and dont fit in the ww roleset i think
venomousbirds: and what jay said
venomousbirds: this seems boring too
mctsts: i should read the abilities
huckhuck55: The Twins start on opposite alignments, (town and wolves) (or could both start UA) Their goal is to have their twin die.
Evil twin (packless) If the evil twin manages to get the good twin killed, the evil twin will acquire new abilities. (tbd)
Good twin if the good twin manages to get the evil twin killed, the good twin will acquire new abilities (tbd)
the twins both know each other and start in a private chat.
